            <description>7th Annual ABRAHAM  FESTIVAL  2010  One Planet, United in  Faith  Caring for the Earth   Come and  hear how Jews, Christians and Muslims are expected by their faith to protect the environment.  A joint presentation by the Abraham  Festival and Greening Sacred Spaces April 16th, 18th and 19th, 2010    Sunday, April 18, 2010Auditorium, George St. United Church534 George St. N.Doors open at 12:30 pm One Planet, United in FaithCaring for the Earth The keynote  speaker will beReverend  Ted Reeve, Executive  Director of Greening  Sacred Spaces. His topic: Soul, Community and Creation Then there will be a  panel discussion:&amp;ldquo;How does our  faith expect us to care for the earth?&amp;rdquo;   The panelists will be :                - Rabbi Shalom   Schachter (Jewish)          - Dr. Stephen  Scharper (Christian)  - Shaikh Habeeb  Ali (Muslim) The speakers will  respond to each other and there will be  questions and commentsfrom the audience. The Greening Sacred  Spaces provincial awards will be  given out. There will be a free vegetarian feast to finish the afternoon.  If  you wish to bring some food to contribute to the supper, please bring  it with you to George St United when you come.  Worship Services As always, the Abraham Festival is including a worship service in the Jewish, Muslim and Christian tradition. These are not interfaith services. They are the regular services held by Muslim,  Christian and Jewish congregations. All are  welcome to join in the services and prayers. We believe that we all pray to the same God, and that no one  can give offense by praying at a place of worship.
